What's new 2026¶
September 7, 2026¶
Delay block - build a journey that waits Orchestration¶
Customer journeys rarely happen all at once. Until now, anything that had to happen later meant a second campaign and a second audience. With the new Delay block the wait goes on the canvas itself: customers stop there for as long as you choose, then carry on in the flow.
Examples¶
- Welcome a new member, give them a game, wait 7 days, then invite them to a challenge.
- A customer completes a challenge → wait a day → re-engage them while it is still fresh.
- Someone qualifies at 08:00 but you want next engagement to happen in the evening → wait until 19:00 today.

How it works¶
Add Delay between the customers coming in and the activity that follows, then fill in one sentence: at this step, wait for 5 days, then continue at 09:00.
Waits are set in minutes, hours or days, up to 90 days. A wait in days also takes a time of day, to allow control on when during that day you want the customer to be engaged.

Limit block - control how many customers your campaign lets through Orchestration¶
You can now set participation limits directly on the Orchestration canvas. Place the Limit block in front of an activity and decide how many customers may continue through the flow in total, and how often one customer may come back. Customers over a limit simply do not move forward.
Examples¶
- “Only 10,000 customers may enter this reward flow.” Set a total limit.
- “A qualifying customer may receive a push notification at most once per day.” Set Per customer, per day to 1.
- “A customer may take part at most three times in total.” Set Per customer, in total to 3.

How it works¶
Add Limit between the customers coming in and the activity you want to protect, then choose one or more of four rules: - total, - per customer in total, - per customer per week, or - per customer per day.
It works with a segment and with one customer at a time from a real-time event, and takes effect as soon as you save it.
For more details, see the Limit block Help Center guide.

AI Segment Summary Segmentation¶
Not sure what a Member Segment actually does? Now it can tell you. Click Segment summary whilst defining your member segment and AI will describe in plain language what members that segment includes - no SQL knowledge needed.

What's new¶
- Plain-language explanations: one click on the Segment summary button turns your segment definition into a description of who is included and which conditions - dates, products, thresholds, etc - are applied
- Always current: while the panel is open, the summary regenerates automatically whenever you change the segment conditions
- Verify with confidence: quickly check that a segment does what you intended, and understand segments created by your colleagues
Good to know: summaries are generated in English and are not stored - a fresh one is created each time. As with any AI-generated content, double-check business-critical segments against the configured conditions.

System event block - share activity data with external systems Orchestration¶
Campaigns in Nexus can already react to what customers do. With the System event block, they can now also react to what happens to your activities themselves - so when an offer, challenge or game is created, updated, published or unpublished, its details can be sent to an external system automatically.
Examples:¶
- An offer is published → your CRM receives its details, and the launch email goes out on time
- Offers are created or updated → an external campaign calendar stays in sync, without manual exports
- An activity is unpublished → a connected system is told to stop dependent communications

Available on request. The System event block is designed for technical setups: it is visible to administrator users only and is enabled per client environment. Reach out to your Integration team if you'd like to use it.

Membership - Custom Properties and Segmentation Attributes Membership¶
You can now bring your own customer metadata into Lobyco and use it directly in the Segment Builder — without needing any Lobyco engineering involvement.
Retailers already collect data that's specific to their business — loyalty tiers, store preferences, employee types, join dates, and more. Custom Segmentation Attributes give you a generic, scalable way to import that data so marketers can act on it straight away.
What's new¶
- Custom property definitions — define the structure of your custom attributes (String, Number, Date, or Boolean) before importing any data. Up to 30 custom attributes are supported per retailer.
- Flexible import options — populate custom properties in bulk, update them for a specific member, or include them when creating a new member.
- Visible on the member profile — once imported, custom properties appear in the Overview tab of a member's profile in the Member Admin page.
- Available in Segment Builder — custom attributes show up under a new Membership – Custom category, with operators tailored to their data type (e.g.
ContainsandInfor strings,Betweenfor numbers and dates,Yes/Nofor booleans). - Usable in orchestration journeys — add custom attributes to an Enrich block to pass values like a member's nickname or loyalty tier downstream to a Feed, Email, or other journey step.

Scheduling flows and date validation Orchestration¶
You can now schedule individual flows in a single campaign. Instead of running a whole campaign at once, flows allow you to start and end your marketing initiatives separately. The flows can start, repeat, and stop independently - no need to split a campaign into smaller campaigns just to control timing.

What's new¶
- Flows — two or more connected blocks; this can represent a simple segmentation flow or a full customer journey.
- Flow starter — the leftmost block of each flow. You can Publish/Unpublish directly the block to easily control when customers can enter the flow. Flows starting with a Member segment or Seed also get Execute, Count and Simulate actions so you can run them on demand.
- A schedule per flow — every flow runs on its own schedule. A Member segment or Seed can run once, on a recurring basis or on demand.
- Date warnings across a flow — the canvas flags dates that don't align between connected blocks, so qualifying members don't fall into a gap and receive nothing. Warnings are advisory and never block you from running your flows.
- Edit dates on the canvas — adjust start/end date and validity period directly on the canvas. Toghether with the date warnings, this helps you easily set up the customer journey with correct dates across the flow.
- Existing campaign schedules keep working — previously scheduled campaigns run unchanged, and opening one shows it in the new flow layout. For these, when you open the flow starter you may see more than one schedule on it. This is left over from how campaigns used to work, where a campaign could be have several scheduled times. In the new layout, each flow starter will allow just one schedule — so select the one you want to keep and save the block. Once you save the campaign in the new layout, it stays in the new format.
Rolling out gradually. This reaches environments over the coming weeks. Until it arrives in yours, you'll keep scheduling campaigns as a whole - nothing changes and nothing breaks. Once it's available, each flow schedules on its own, and there's nothing you need to do to prepare.

New in Communication activities Communications¶
What's new:
-
Banner activities can be triggered via Orchestration, using a Member Segment or an Event to control which members see the banner in the mobile app
-
Banner Validity (Days):
-
Triggered banners now support a Validity period (in days)
-
This defines how long the banner remains visible from the execution time, per member
-
If no validity is set, the banner remains visible until the Banner activity end date
-
-
Prompt activities can now be triggered via Orchestration using an Event
- Prompts are triggered in real time when a customer performs an event (e.g. challenge completed, purchase made)
-
Prompt Validity (Days): Triggered prompts now support a Validity period (in days), defining how long the prompt remains visible from the execution time, per member. If no validity is set, the prompt remains visible until the Prompt activity end date
-
Feed activities can now be triggered via Orchestration using an Event
- Feed activities are triggered in real time when a customer performs an event (e.g. challenge completed, purchase made)
-
Feed Validity (Days): Triggered feed activities now support a Validity period (in days), defining how long the feed item remains visible from the execution time, per member. If no validity is set, the feed item remains visible until the Feed activity end date

-
We've standardized how Feed and Prompt activities are handled during flow execution
What changed:
-
Previously, each execution of a flow containing a Feed or Prompt activity created a new activity instance
- Example: If a flow ran 10 times, 10 duplicate Feed or Prompt activities were created
-
Now, a single Feed or Prompt activity is reused across all executions of the flow
Why this matters:
-
Eliminates unnecessary duplication of activities
-
Improves clarity and traceability in Campaigns and activity lists
-
Ensures a cleaner and more predictable execution model
-

Unified Campaign Management Campaigns¶
Promotions, App Communication, and Segmentation are now unified in one place. You can manage planning and execution within one consistent workflow, replacing the need to navigate between separate product pages.

What's new¶
- One hub for all activities: all campaign capabilities are now merged in the Campaigns section, bringing Promotions, App Communication, and Segmentation management into one place
- Three views: campaigns can now be viewed as a list, a calendar, or an orchestration canvas. Changes made in one view are immediately reflected in the others
- Filtering by author and campaign elements: the list view now supports filtering by author and specific campaign elements. Selected filters are remembered when you return to the platform
- Activity templates: any activity can be saved as a template and used as a starting point for new activities in campaigns. All values are copied except dates and reward coupons
- Toolbox: previous product pages including Banners, Feeds, Games, and Challenges have moved to the Toolbox in read-only mode and will be deprecated over time. New activities should be created through Campaigns

Real-Time Orchestration - Event blocks Orchestration¶
With Event blocks, campaigns in Nexus can now react to customer and activity events, instead of relying only on scheduled runs.
This allows you to build flows that start or continue when a relevant event happens.
Examples:¶
- Welcome a new member the moment they sign up
- React to a game win or loss with the right follow-up — immediately
- Trigger the next campaign step when a customer completes a challenge
This is the shift from "run every Monday at 9 AM" to "react when it matters."

Supported events¶
Customer events: customer sign-up.
Activity events: challenge completed, game won, game lost, offer assigned.
Good to know¶
This release is part of the ongoing expansion of Orchestration toward real-time customer journeys.
Some parts of the experience are still evolving, and we will continue to improve them through gradual releases.
We are currently working on:
- scheduling control per flow on the orchestration canvas, instead of scheduling the whole campaign canvas
- a refresh of execution history
We'd love to hear your feedback as you start using the real-time capabilities. Do let us know via the feedback form in the menu or your Integration team contact.

Connect Campaigns to External Systems with Outbound API Orchestration¶
You can now connect your campaigns to external systems in real time using the new Outbound API block.
When a customer triggers an event in your campaign, Nexus sends data directly to your CRM, CDP, or any other tool — extending the customer journey beyond the platform.

Examples:¶
- A customer signs up → notify your CRM to trigger a welcome email
- A customer completes a challenge → send their data to your CDP for a follow-up journey
- A customer activates an offer → update their profile in an external system
What's new¶
-
Trigger external actions from campaign events — send data to any external system the moment a customer reaches this step.
-
Dynamic payloads with placeholders — insert customer, event, and purchase data into the request body using
{{ placeholder.name }}syntax with autocomplete. -
Reusable authentication — save OAuth 2.0 or HTTP Basic credentials once in Segmentation → Integrations and reuse them across blocks and campaigns.
The Outbound API block is available in the Orchestration view toolbox for all real-time event-based campaigns.

Challenges Product Updates Challenges¶
We've made several improvements to the Challenges engine over the past months, giving you more control over reward expiration, payment filtering, and progress tracking.
Rewards Expiration in Challenges¶
Challenges now support configurable reward expiration for Coupon and Bonus rewards. You can define when challenge rewards expire, giving members a clear window to claim their earned prizes and helping you manage liability more effectively.

Payment Method Challenges¶
A new Payment Method calculator has been added to Challenges, allowing you to filter challenge progress based on the payment method used. This enables scenarios such as rewarding members who pay with a specific payment type — Card, Cash, Loyalty app, or others.

Challenge Progress Cooldown¶
You can now configure a cooldown period on challenge progress. This allows you to pause progress counting for a specified amount of time after a purchase, preventing members from rapidly completing challenges through multiple quick transactions or one big purchase.
