Deeplinks overview¶
What are deeplinks?¶
Deeplinks are predefined in‑app destinations. When a user taps a message that contains a deeplink, the app opens directly to a specific screen (for example, the offers overview or the home screen). This creates a smooth, relevant experience and reduces the number of steps for the user.
For retailers, deeplinks make it easy to redirect customers to the exact pages you want—to spotlight specific campaigns or offers and make your communications more engaging.
Where can you use them?¶
Deeplinks can be added to the main communication campaigns supported by Lobyco:
- Push - when a user taps the push notification, the app opens the targeted screen.
Deeplinks are configured when creating the Push campaign in the
In app actionsection. Use the dropdown to select the desired in-app screen.

- Feed – feed campaigns can include a button on any type, text, image, or video. When users tap the button, they’re redirected to the configured in‑app screen.
To configure deeplinks when creating a Feed campaign, first add a button by checking
Add button. This enables theIn app actionsection, where you can use the dropdown to select the targeted in-app screen.

- Banners – promotional banners can take users to a relevant destination when tapped.
Deeplink configuration is at the bottom of the Banner page under
Banner call-to-action. If you selectApp deeplink, a dropdown with all supported destinations will be displayed.

- Prompts – when a prompt is shown, the Approve and Decline buttons can take users to different in-app screens.
When creating a Prompt, each button has an
In app actionsection where you can use the dropdown to select the action that best suits your campaign.

All of the above are configured through our Admin Tool.
Standard and custom deeplinks¶
We provide a set of standard deeplinks that cover the most common destinations. These are available out of the box for campaigns and day‑to‑day communications. To check the complete list check of standard deeplink and their action check this section Standard deeplinks
If you need something more specific, we can also provide custom deeplinks on request (for example, opening a custom tab). Our team will confirm feasibility and timeline based on your use case.
Best practices¶
- Match the message to the destination. If you announce new offers, link to the offers overview.
- Use clear calls‑to‑action. Tell users what they will see after tapping.
- Plan custom needs early. Let us know if you need a new destination so we can align on scope and timing.
