Overview

Feed is a solution designed to deliver configurable content in the home screen of the mobile app. The feed is a small piece of info crafted with an image, video and/or text which can be digested at a quick glance. This can serve as a stand-alone info or can simply invite the user to learn more on the topic or act on it by clicking it. Based on the type of the content, feeds can be:

  • Inspiration feeds - inspire or inform user with content such as recipes, campaigns info, retailer news

  • Purchase feeds - user gets automatically a feed after each purchase, showing the receipt, bonus info and asking for customer feedback

  • Green feeds - inspire user with 'green' content on sustainability topics

  • Local communications - localized content created by store managers to engage their clients, e.g. local offers, news, polls, events, etc.

Unless specified otherwise, when talking of feeds in the app Lobyco refers to the inspiration feeds, which stand as foundation for other types of feed communications.

Looks and feels

The app's home screen is the primary place for showing feeds to the user. And we currently support two home screen variants, each inviting for a slightly different user experience:

  1. Home screen with vertical scroll (so called Old home screen)
  2. Home screen with horizontal scrollable sections (so called New home screen).

Here are examples of feeds on the different design versions of the home screen.
