Campaigns Overview

Campaigns is the part of the Lobyco Platform where you design, run, and monitor customer journeys directly on a canvas. It allows you to identify audiences, enrich them with additional data, and activate them across different channels.

You access it under Campaigns in the Segmentation menu.

This section of the manual explains how to work with campaigns, including the campaign list, the canvas, execution history, schedules, events, and the available building blocks.

Campaigns

In the Lobyco Platform, a (segmentation) campaign is a sequence of actions in which a set of customers is identified and engaged via a channel.

The campaign is configured in an intuitive canvas, where blocks are drag-and-dropped and connected to reach the desired result.

Example:

Campaign example

Campaigns can be:

  • Run once.
  • Scheduled to run regularly, enabling automated customer flows.

Examples of scheduled runs:

  • Send a personalized communication to customers who signed up today.
  • Weekly send a “thank you” game with a reward to customers who spent more than 100$ during the last week.

A campaign run history is maintained, making it easy to track previous runs.

Action blocks

Action blocks are the building blocks of a campaign.
They are drag-and-dropped onto the canvas and connected to build your journey.

The main categories are:

  1. Segmentation – identify customers (Member segment, Seed).
  2. Channels – deliver output (CSV export, Audiences, App communications like feed, prompt, push, and App promotions like games and bonus vouchers).
  3. Operators – manipulate results (Combine, Intersect, Exclude, Limit, Split).
  4. Enrichment – enrich results with additional customer data.

Each block is documented in the Building Blocks section.

Customer attributes

Customer attributes are the data points used in Orchestration. They are applied in two main ways:

  • In segments, to filter customers who meet one or more criteria.
  • In enrichment, to add more customer-specific information to a list of member IDs (for example, for personalization in exports or communications).

Out-of-the-box attributes include:

  • Membership data
  • Purchase data (including products purchased or stores where purchases happened)

The exact attributes available depend on which Lobyco services are integrated in your installation.

External data sources can be integrated into the Lobyco Data Platform and then exposed to Orchestration, but this requires a separate Statement of Work (SOW).

Real-time triggers

Orchestration is evolving beyond scheduled, batch-based campaigns to support real-time, event-driven journeys.
This enables retailers to trigger personalized activities based on customer behaviors and events as they happen.

Example:

  • When a member completes a challenge, Orchestration can immediately trigger a game and send a push notification to inform them.

The specific types of events, use cases, and activation triggers will be defined based on customer and market input and assessed business value. Development will follow an iterative roadmap.

This enhancement represents Lobyco’s broader commitment to innovation in customer engagement and intelligent automation.
