Create push

1. Push details

  1. Title
    • Title of push notification which will be displayed on top of the message
    • Maximum size: 60 characters
  2. Message
    • Message of the push notification
    • Maximum size: 256 characters
  3. In app action
    • Choose what section in the app should open when notification is clicked
    • Deep links can point to specific activities(e.g. specific game identified through a gameId)
    • A push notification can be created without app action

2. Segmentation

  1. All customers 

    • Send push notification to all members.

  2. Audience

    • Send push notification to specific audience segments.
    • When this option is chosen, additional settings appear to define the targeted audience.
  3. Select Audience Name
    • Some customers have integration with Audience Service that allows the management of Member Segments in one centralized place and reuse throughout the other promotion and communication sections.
    • Specify the audience segment to target.
  4. Select from list
    • Select from list of predefined segments brings up a pop-up where all predefined audiences are listed. Based on the name and description the needed Audience can be selected as a target for this push activity.
  5. Create new audience
    • Create a new audience segment if the desired segment does not already exist.
  6. Select Snapshots
    • Target specific snapshots of audience data.

3. Schedule

  1. Delivery date
    • The date and time at which the system will start to deliver push to the selected segment
    • If the delivery date is set in the past the activity can be created and the notifications will be delivered.
  2. Expiration date
    • The date and time at which the system will stop trying to deliver the push notification to the segment.
    • Expiration date cannot precede delivery date and cannot be set in the past

5. Save as draft, Schedule or Send Push

  1. Save as draft
    • The push is saved as draft and it's not sent until it's published, regardless of the availability period set trough start and end dates. Draft push activities can be updated.
  2. Schedule
    • The push notifications will be sent based on the availability period set trough start and end dates.
  3. Send
    • Schedule button is replaced with Send button when the Start Datetime is not or sooner than now.
  4. Close
    • All changes are discarded, the push or the updates on a push activity are not saved.
